Terbium Gallium Garnet (TGG) es un excelente cristal magneto-óptico utilizado para dispositivos de aisladores ópticos y rotadores en el rango de 400 nm a 1100 nm, excluyendo 470-500 nm. El TGG tiene una alta constante Verdet que da como resultado el efecto Faraday, lo que lo hace más adecuado para dispositivos Faraday. Ventajas: • Constante verde alto (35 Rad T−1 m−1) • Conductividad térmica (7,4 W m−1 K−1) • Bajas pérdidas ópticas (<0,1 %/cm)
