Ce:LuAG

Ce:LuAG (Granate de aluminio deutecio) es de especial interés como material para láseres de estado sólido bombeados por diodos que emplean iones activos como Yb, Tm, Er y Ho. Este host tiene la constante de red más pequeña de los granates de tierras raras y el campo de cristal resultante en LuAG produce anchos de línea más estrechos y secciones transversales de absorción y emisión más altas. El efecto neto son los dispositivos láser de mayor eficiencia.
